contract furniture - Krischanitz Kollektion bentwood

Krischanitz Kollektion Bentwood

Bentwood is used not just as a light and elemental base material but also as a design element for creating four types of furniture with striking traits and specific uses and connotations. The daybed with its slender, rectilinear and low bent-
wood frame and flat geometrical stitched leather upholstery stimulates focused contemplation. In comparison, the chair-
bed with its body-moulded wave form and stretched mesh brings respectability to languorousness. Bentwood co02 veers between chair and armchair. The fully leather-upholstered backrest and seat is produced from a single piece of bentwood. The contract chair is the younger, somewhat taller brother in the collection. Design: Adolf Krischanitz, Vienna
